I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute and a graduate certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of Kentucky. I have been participating professionally in the historical resources field since 2012, contributing to surveys, evaluations, and historic district applications.
Since 2015, I have independently researched, written, and presented to the Historic Landmarks Commission more than sixteen nominations for buildings seeking San José City Landmark/Mills Act status. My work includes detailed architectural and historical descriptions in DPR 523 forms and other application materials.
I am the author or co-author of three books on local architectural history: Frank Delos Wolfe: California Prairie Architecture (2014), Wolfe & Higgins: Master Architects of the Spanish Revival (2017), and Schiele Subdivision and Alameda Park: History, Architecture, and Preservation in a San Jose Neighborhood (2022-24).

I have published many articles on architectural history and the local architects who have contributed to San José's built environment. I am an experienced public speaker and am available for talks on local architectural history.
